about secondhand stores in Korea

You can find anywhere in town for secondhand stores. You can find shop name with "Je-hwal-yong centre 재활용 센터". So if you want to ask to Korean, you can ask with secondhand stuff as " Joong-go-poom 중고품 or Joong-go mool-poom 중고물품" or secondhand store as "Joong-go Sang-jum 중고 상점".

But problem is that store was quite complicated because some shop selling the furniture only, some shop selling the home electric only. Some of them selling the mixed up with anything. So it will be difficult to find what you wanted.
And price was not that reasonable. Because you will find out that new one wasn't that expensive.

If you didn't buy the stuff with carefulness, it will probably break or explode.

The problem is that the stores are quite complicated. Some of them sell only furniture or home electronics. Some sell a variety of items. This makes it difficult to find what you want to buy. The price might also be unreasonable as you could find a new one that isn't that much more.

If you don't shop carefully you might buy cheap things.

I heard about you extolling the virtue of your method for learning English and I thought you might appreciate those corrections.

So what?

What are you talking about?
When did I teach English to Korean?
I just taught them how to learn English. Don't you understand?

If you don't understand differences, just go away quietly.

Anonymous said...

Don't you think you should show some mastery of a subject before you teach others how to learn it?

Ara said...

So you think my English is terribly poor? That's what you want to prove, isn't it?

Didn't I told you before?
If you don't understand what is difference between teach English and how to learn English, you should go to study first and then you talk about it.

When did I teach to someone?
I didn't teach. Don't confuse with teach and guiding.

Anonymous said...

Teaching someone a subject and teaching them how to learn a subject both require mastery in the subject.

Otherwise what evidence do you have that your method is worth learning?

Ara said...

You were damn so right.
Why don't you talk about this to Korean's English teacher, professor and English education government.
Go there and fuss about it.

Why don't you complain to Korean's education government, EBS producer, English teacher, professor and all?

You never talk to them but you talk to me.
Can't you see what your problem is?

And again. You still don't understand teach English and how to learn English thing. Why don't go home and learn about it?

Anonymous said...

How do you know I haven't talked about this with a Korean English teacher? How do you know I haven't complained about this to the Ministry of Education or EBS? Are you following me? Stalking is illegal.

My problem is someone who professes to know the secret to learning a subject but demonstrates no mastery of the subject. You are misleading people.

Ara said...

That's why you have a big problem.
You still don't know the difference between teach thing and how to do thing. (Now I did give you the tip.)
That's the whole point.
You can't understand the English. But you are trying to I was wrong.

That's why I don't have to stalking you. I know you CAN'T even understand English. (You still can't even understand difference between teach thing and how to do thing.)

If you want to improve yourself(I can teach you what is difference and other things.), I can give you consultation. Of course, it was NOT free.

How many times should I have to repeat that? You are totally missing the point.
I didn't misleading the people, you are the one misleading the people.

You don't seem to understand that if you're going to claim to know how to learn English, you should demonstrate that you have some skill it. So far your English is little more than a mess of grammar, bad word order, incorrect verb usage, and hilarious vocabulary choices. Most of the things you've said in this conversation are laughable, especially the insults. They make little sense. Not remotely natural.

Would you learn how to study Math from someone who can't add? How about learning how to study cooking from someone who always burns their food? No you wouldn't. If you want to learn how to study a subject you should learn from someone who knows that subject.

Your method for learning English hasn't provided you with any great skill. So why should anyone listen to you? You blatantly lie about your English your ability so that people will listen to you. Writing is a reflection of speaking, in fact most people's speaking is not as good as their writing. With writing you can take the time to look up some vocabulary, read it over to check the grammar (which you should try), and generally improve it before finishing. With speaking you don't get that chance.

I very much doubt you could hold a serious conversation over 10 minutes let alone 7 hours.

Ara said...

Hahaha..
You are the one hilarious, don't you know that?
YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND ENGLISH but you want to prove I can't speak or write English.

YOU STILL DON'T UNDERSTAND between teach thing and how to do thing.
HOW MANY TIMES should I have to REPEAT THAT? YOU SHOULD ASK someone about it.

YOU CAN'T EVEN UNDERSTAND what am I saying.. BUT you want to prove I WAS WRONG.

THANK you very much for this.. I WILL PUT THIS to my blog.. YOU will be very famous.

You were missing the point. If you want to prove you were right, you have explain very carefully about teach thing and how to do things.
Without that, YOU don't make any sense.

ANYWAY, HOW MANY your friends help to translate that??
I don't want to teach you English any more. So whatever you write here, I will delete it except if you explain what is difference between teach thing and to do thing.

I didn't read your passage properly because it wasn't worth to read.

It's too much wasting my time.

Learn what is difference between teach thing and to do thing.

Anonymous said...

You didn't read the passage properly because you're incapable of following the words. If you want to prove how good you are at English you shouldn't spend your time trying to claim you're better at English than a native speaker.

You see the only translating that was done was by a Korean friend complaining about your Korean blog and the wild claims you made there.

You can't even follow the simple point:
Whether you are teaching someone how to do something or teaching them how to learn how to do something you should give evidence that you have skill in that subject. You have repeatedly failed to show that you have any real skill in English, anything beyond that of an average Korean who learned English in high school and university.

As for proving you wrong, anyone reading your posts can quickly see how bad your English is, and every time you write something new its further evidence of your complete lack of skill in a language you claim to know how to learn.

If you are so good at teaching people how to learn English, why aren't you an expert at English?
If you know so much about learning English you should be able to apply that and be an expert at English before long.

I'm quite aware of the difference between teaching someone English and teaching them how to learn English, but doing both of those things requires you know English. Koreans already have a method for learning English. What evidence do you have to show that your method is better than the existing one? Certainly not your English ability.

Deleting any of my posts only proves me right because it shows you are ashamed of your ability and that you have no business teaching anyone how to learn English. Don't worry too much if you delete it though, I've saved it.

"You are the one hilarious" Even your first sentence is wrong.
"Hilarious" is an adjective, adjectives go before the noun. "One" is the noun. "You are the hilarious one". Stay in school champ.

WHY DO YOU THINK I HAVE TO READ YOUR writing?
You can't understand what is difference between TEACH thing and HOW TO DO thing.
But you want to prove I CAN'T SPEAK or WRITE ENGLISH.
It is not necessary, can't you see that?

ANYWAY, when did I speak or write better than NATIVE speaker? Are you crazy or what?

That's why you need to learn logic. If you don't, just go away quietly.

You said that I am teaching people how to learn English. You see.
How many times should I have to say to you? I didn't teach them. Don't you know?
They learn English from movies or TV shows. Don't you know?

You see. You don't know difference between what is guiding and what is teaching.

You completely lost.

Where are you from? You sounds like completely Korean but how come you don't know anything about Korean's English education? Did you even try to talk English with Korean?

How many Koreans can speak English?

You don't know anything about Korean but you think you know?

Can't you see the your problem?

Anonymous said...

I just explained the difference between teaching something and teaching someone how to learn something. You can't seem to understand that you should show skill in that subject before you can do either. Demonstrating that you can't speak or write English, which you continue to do with every post is just further proof that you have no business teaching anyone how to learn English.

As I already said: If a person burns their food, would you want to learn how to study cooking from them? I don't think so.

If a person can't speak or write English why would anyone want to learn how to study English from them?

You claimed I don't know English, but I am a native speaker. So you are claiming your English is better than mine and that is why I couldn't understand you. I had difficulty understanding some of your sentences because the grammar, structure and vocabulary was so bad it was hard to decipher it.

You are teaching people how to learn English. So I'll explain this again: Why should anyone listen to you? What proof do you have that you have a good method for learning English? What proof do you have that your method is better than the Korean education system, or a private hagwon or anything else? None. What proof do you have that it is even as good as any of those? None. Your ability certainly isn't proof of its success.

As for Korea, I'm quite familiar with Korea. I live there, I have many Korean friends. One of them is the reason I came to your blog. They were very angry about your lies and your misrepresentation of your English abilities.

It is very difficult for you to pretend you have more ability than you do. You've shown repeatedly that you can't follow the conversation flow, so I know how much you really understand regardless of what you claim. The vast difference between your journal entry and the corrected version I posted at the beginning illustrates just how many errors were in your sentences.

For fun, let's go over some of your last post:
"You can't understand what is difference between TEACH thing and HOW TO DO thing."
"You can't understand what is the difference between teaching something and teaching how to learn something" (You want to use learn here since you're professing to be telling people how to learn English)

"ANYWAY, when did I speak or write better than NATIVE speaker?"
"Anyway when did I say that I speak and writer better than a native speaker" - Remember to use your articles, like a/an, the.

"You said that I am teaching people how to learn English. You see.
How many times should I have to say to you? I didn't teach them. Don't you know?
They learn English from movies or TV shows. Don't you know?" I can understand a bit of your meaning, but grammatically you've lost your way.
"You said that I am teaching people how to learn English. You understand." After this you make no sense. I already pointed out that I know you're trying to teach them how to learn English, and you acknowledged that but then you go on to repeat the same theme multiple times. It makes no sense in the same paragraph. How many times do you need to say it? Just once since I've already said that I know that. But you keep asking if I understand when I've already said I do.

"You see. You don't know difference between what is guiding and what is teaching.

You completely lost."

"You see, you don't know what the difference is between guiding and teaching." - You've already stated this too.

"You are completely lost" don't forget those verbs, we use them quite a bit in English. Usually in every sentence.

"You sounds like completely Korean but how come you don't know anything about Korean's English education? Did you even try to talk English with Korean?"
"You sound like you are completely Korean but how come you don't know anything about Korea's English Education system? Did you even try to speak English with a Korean (or with Koreans, you can choose)" The education system belongs to Korea the country, and we speak English with people not talk English. We can "talk in English"

You should hope that none of the visitors to your Korean blog can read English well. If they can it will only show how poor your English ability is. It goes beyond the occasional grammar mix-up and into the realm of lost meaning.

I'm going to assume you're not a stupid man. You're probably smart enough to realize that your English isn't that good. You're probably also smart enough to realize that you can't pretend forever. At some point someone else is going to call you on it. Perhaps a native teacher who speaks Korean and happens across your blog, or another Korean with a native friend, or perhaps a Korean who is fluent in English.

So next time you decide to make a claim about your English ability, or to write about your method for learning English and how it is so great, I want you to think long and hard. You never know when someone who actually knows the truth could be watching your blog.

Ara said...

Don't change the subject.
I am not reading your passage.

So tell me. Who said that I was teaching English to Korean? I will try to sue this.
Could you tell me the name and his all the personal identification, please?

You seem to me that you don't understand what is difference between teach thing and how to do thing.
So if you think you are right, please let me know that person. So we can figure out in court.

Ara said...

Hm.hm.
I am sorry. I thought you are Korean and came here for attack.

So let's try this again.
Yes, I didn't read your passage properly because I thought you are Korean. (Now I can see that you were trying to explain learn how to do things.)

I don't want to tell you everything about it.
So how many Koreans did you talk with them? How many?
So that's why I asked you about Korean's English education system.

And let me ask you really important thing?
Have you ever seen someone's writing in websites such as imdb.com or ilounge.com?
So how do you feel about that?

Is there any perfect writing in English? Of course, there has but not all of them, right?

Why? Because they were not Native speaker.
(Yes, my grammar and usage were poor. And I am writing in speaking style. Technical term was plain English, if I am not mistaken.)

So why do you think that I can speak or writing like NATIVE? I never said that.
Who said that? Your Korean friends, right? You've got a information from wrong person, right?

And let me tell you how long did I learn English.(If you staying at Seoul, you can meet Koreans with perfect English. But did you know how long they learn English?)

I have been learning English only 6 years.
If you think I can't speak or writing, you have to research about how long does it take to learn one language? How long?

I am sorry about the my rudeness.
But you have to research about not native English speaker's English skill and then you will understand what I mean.

One more thing I am still asking you about the how to do things.
I am really tiring of explain this to you so I will just show you the some site.

http://www.howitworks.com/
http://www.howstuffworks.com/
http://www.howtodothings.com/
http://www.ehow.com/
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/How-to

So tell me is that any person to write something on above the websites should be perfectly professional to write about how to do things?
That's the my whole point.

Ara said...

One more thing, you said this "You are teaching people how to learn English. So I'll explain this again: Why should anyone listen to you? What proof do you have that you have a good method for learning English? What proof do you have that your method is better than the Korean education system, or a private hagwon or anything else? None. What proof do you have that it is even as good as any of those? None. Your ability certainly isn't proof of its success."

You said that you are NOT Korean. So what do you know about Korean's English education system?
You don't know right? But why did you say that?

I already ask you that how many Koreans can speak English, right?
So almost none of Korean speak English(This is whole truth.) when they were learn English for more than 10 years.

Can't you see the some problem in Korean's English education system?

Ara said...

You know why I was angry about your word?
I can see that you don't know anything about English as a Second Language. English wasn't my first language, you know.

You expect me to speak and writing like Native speaker? That's what you did, you know.

And cheap things and break or explode things are different, right? I know it's similar but it wasn't same thing.

That's why I assumed that you are Korean.

Anyway your friend doesn't have ten fingers? why you talking to him instead of your friend. God do your job some of your child dosen't have ten fingers. Can you hear me? That's why I don't believe in god. I believe in Dr.house and he says "Everybody lies".

Dear Sir, Actually I'm not so much good at English as a Korean.
However, if it took 6 years to write that much, I think I can hardly say your method - how to learn Eng - is excellent.

Watching TV & movie without subtitle is really good way to learn but you need grammer and words to make it more effectively.

Because you are not baby born in US, you need grammer.

And words - it is right that it is needless to listen hundred times if you don't know it.

Words - even Americans buy vocabulary books to expand their ability.

Namely, watching TV without subtitle AND studying grammer/words
both are essential.

good luck!

Ara said...

You don't know anything about learn English so what do you fuss about?
And where did you learn your manner? eh?

Wow. So you are saying that my English is poorer than baby? (Of course, you stupid funny guy. How can I better than native English speaker? Did I born in America, England or Australia? Are you dreaming?) What an amazing thought!

When did I ask you to learn English my way? If you don't want to learn my way, don't do it. IT is YOUR CHOICE.

So go away quietly.
